Musical Theatre Acting Coach
Arbender Robinson is currently the Musical Theatre Coaching Associate at New York Vocal Coaching, and Co-Director of New York Acting Coaching. No stranger to the stage, Mr. Robinson has appeared in ten (10) Broadway musicals.
Monologue & Acting Coach
Grant MacDermott is our head acting coach and Co-Director of New York Acting Coaching. Grant has been a professional working actor for most of his life. He began acting professionally at the age of thirteen in commercials and live theater.

As each student pursues their own vocal journey, it is Meredith’s job to ensure that they have the best experience possible. After earning her BA in Theatre from Meredith College, she moved to New York City to pursue her love of the stage. Favorite credits include Martha Cox in High School Musical 2 (North Carolina Theatre), Hello, Dolly! (NCT), Miss Saigon (NCT), Meredith Parker in Bat Boy, Belinda Blair in Noises Off, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Baroness Schrader in The Sound of Music and Logainne in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Meredith is also an experienced director and choreographer. She served as the director of Musical Theatre for the North Carolina Young Artists Program. During the summer of 2011, 2012 and 2013, NCYAP traveled internationally to Bulgaria and Italy to perform her works. She has also worked as the Assistant to the Producer of North Carolina Theatre where she maintained the daily workings of every production throughout the spring season of 2013.
In keeping with the New York Vocal Coaching Mission Statement, Meredith strives to dedicate her heart, collaborate as a team and serve every artist that walks through the doors of this studio. Meredith is thrilled to be a part of the team at New York Vocal Coaching!
