What can I expect from a lesson?

Lessons are geared toward your unique needs. We will work on existing material you may have, select new material for a specific audition, or sometimes just talk about your career and help you set specific goals and a way to achieve them.

Is there a certain number of lessons I need to commit to?

Here at NYAC, you are welcome to take as many lessons as you would like. You are not required to take any number of lessons while you study here.

Can I have my lesson over Skype, FaceTime or Google Hangouts?

Absolutely! We do video platform lessons for people all over the world.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

All sessions must be cancelled by sending an e-mail to assistant@newyorkactingcoaching.com.

The Cancellation Policy for all Private Coaching & Group Classes with New York Acting Coaching is as follows:

Lessons cancelled with 24 hours or less notice: Full Lesson Fee

Lessons cancelled with 48 hours or less notice: $50 Cancellation Fee

All sessions cancelled within 24-hours of the appointment must be fully compensated. Due to high demand for sessions, appointments cancelled with less than 48-hours notice will also be charged a $50 fee. New York Acting Coaching respectfully requests 72-hours notice when canceling appointments, but there is no fee unless cancellations are made with under 48-hours notice. Out of fairness and integrity to all teachers and students, please note that we can make no exceptions to this policy. This includes cancellations due to illness, weather, transportation problems, etc.

The Cancellation Policy for all AuditionNOW sessions with New York Acting Coaching is as follows: Due to the last minute nature of this service and to make sure we accommodate all requests, once your request is confirmed and paid for you CAN NOT CHANGE YOUR TIME so as not to complicate the lesson times of others. The class or lesson time I want is full or taken. What should I do?

We have a wait list for all instructors and classes. Please email our administrative team at assistant@newyorkactingcoaching.com for details.

What if I can’t afford a lesson?

Here at NYAC, we believe your art and your career are very important. We also respect and understand that some people come from different economic situations. If you have any financial concerns, please email our administrative team directly at assistant@newyorkactingcoaching.com. They, along with your instructor, will figure out the best path to help you!
